Receive your full payment by March 31st of the following year.

Flexible Options

Program Practices: Choose What Works for You

You are committing to single-year contracts to implement practice changes that improve at least two of the following areas: Soil Health, CO₂e Emissions/Sequestration, and On-Farm Biodiversity.

Basic Level

Common Basic Level Practices

  • Reduced Tillage/No-Till
  • 4R Nutrient Optimization (Variable Rate, Inhibitors, Split/Spring Application)
  • Improving Biodiversity on the Farm
  • Using Sectional Control and reducing fuel use
  • Use of Stripper Headers
Premium Level

Common Premium Level Practices

  • Under-seeding forage crops
  • Seeding Cover Crops in rotation (including full season)
  • Seeding Perennials in Unproductive Areas
  • Intercropping oats with peas
Getting Started

Eligibility & How It Works

Check Your Crop

Canola/Oat acres eligible for enrollment.

Oat Requirement

To enroll oat acres, you must have a Quaker Oat Volume contract for the respective year.

Enroll

Between April 1st and September 30th (or until program is full).

Practice Selection

Select fields and practices to quantify environmental outcomes.

Submit Data

Submit baseline data from three recent years of non-regenerative canola/oat production. Baseline data must be from within the last 20 years.

Timely Payments

Receive your full payment by March 31st of the following year, with optional assistance with paperwork.

Full Data Confidentiality

Your individual farm data, including location and agronomic details, is never shared with PepsiCo. They receive only aggregated, anonymized data.

Annual Reports

Receive a full-year summary report of emission and sequestration impacts on your farm.

Peer Learning

Have a voice in the future of the program. Join field tours and workshops with fellow farmers.

Your Commitments

  • You are committing to single-year contracts with no long-term lock-in.
  • You cannot sell carbon credits from the enrolled fields for that contract year, as they are now reserved as carbon insets.
